Selected professionals from around the world are appointed to The Tone-at-the Bottom Board of Advisors by the Board Chairman. Responsibilities of board members are to develop, approve, update and promote the Tone-at-the-Bottom pledge that we hope all independent corporate directors and corporate boards will adopt.
The pledge requires directors to mitigate Tone-at-the-Bottom corporate risks related to corporate welfare, victim/welfare mentality, public sector dependency and undisclosed political campaign spending because they harm the private sector which in turn harms those at the bottom of our economies and societies. The pledge promotes private sector self-regulation thereby avoiding the ballot box threats to long term corporate sustainability and the private sector.
